I The Lorain-Carnegie Bridge with its 43 foot tall Guardians of Transportation statues was a familiar sight for me, traveling from the west side to downtown Cleveland for several decades. It was renamed the Hope Memorial Bridge in 1983 in honor of Bob Hope and his family, who immigrated to Cleveland in 1908.
