And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
kind of weird as I remember a lot of that after market stuff coming thru a scrap yard back in the 1970's. right around the time of the gasoline shortage. right around that time a bunch of old rifles came in as well. scored a few for myself at 5 bucks a pop. rough shape overall but good for building sport rifles out of. still have one. old Mauser 1893. you wouldn't believe what people brought in as scrap to get rid of back then.
A nice V-8 Ford flathead painted up with a polished 2-duece intake in a 37 Ford. Gave my buddy an NOS grille I'd had a long time for his 37' coupe he built in 1963 when we were in high school. Still his favorite of several rods and Customs he has now. Bubbarust
