  1. The guy on the left is holding a better rifle than Custer's men had at the Little Big Horn. It's either a Henry repeating rifle or an 1866 Golden Boy Winchester. Both weapons were great for the kind of close combat that ended Custer's career.

    1. It has a wooden fore end stock so it is an 1866 Yellowboy.

    2. The other factor for Custer was the fact that he had 200 men and the injuns has 2,000.
