    2. I agree with it being fake. Snow hump in front of rear tire. If you'd backed in, which you would, it'd be flat. The entire pic is just off, and, yes, I've spent a few hours in the woods, all seasons. True solitude, winter camping.

  2. I did that in a soft top Jeep with no tent. Coleman stove to keep warm.

  3. I'm guessing since the windows aren't fogged that bf & gf haven't begun the heated discussion of the merits of finishing the weekend at the nearest motel.

    1. I did quite a lot of snow camping “back in the day”. Hard to explain to people the joy of it. Those days are long gone but fondly remembered.

  6. As I have said before, I did all the "camping" that I needed for my entire lifetime while deployed for 12 months and 29 days as a US Marine tank commander in Vietnam.

    1. Can you hear the rain beat down inside a tank?

    2. Never slept inside of my tank. Spread a tarp over the back ... and yes, it was noisy.

  7. Looks like an Early Winters Winterlight Gore-Tex tent. But color is wrong and there shouldn't be snow inside it. it is a little suss.

  8. picture may/may not be reality. It simply makes an artist's statement My take on a statement is; "campers shoulda stayed home".
