  1. I remember reading some short post-apocalyptic story in my teenage years where the protagonist called highways "godroads", thinking only gods could build them. They deduced the names of these gods by reading the street signs associated with them.

  3. Pretty wild. The path/road passes by what appears to be some ethereal “city” but continues on, thru passes to a far distant horizon, skirting a significant peak. Life’s a journey, not a destination.
