And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Jaguar does make some sexy cars an has for a long time. I wanted a 1953 since I was a young teen. Electrical systems are always terrible on British cars but a lot of vehicles have certain issues. Ford bought them and I like Fords. E4OF was a terrible transmission and the twin I beam well good idea in concept but it was far from great.
The oil jobber we bought in 1983 had Ford tank wagon, 2000 gal. delivery trucks, all with Twin I-Beam Suspensions. You had to "balance" the load between the four compartments or the truck would sway, almost uncontrollably.
I worked in a gas station when I was young and a guy pulled in with one of these and a beautiful date with a lot of cleavage. Spent a long time on the windshield and the guy got really annoyed. The things you remember.
