  1. Those are expensive curtains made from a Hudson Bay blanket. The English wool blankets were traded for beaver pelts by the Hudson Bay Company from the late 1700s onwards in Canada.

    1. These were likely purchased from LL Bean. The number of 'points' indicated the number of pelts needed to purchase. They are beautiful blankets.

  2. Well, the obvious is the woodstove isn't resting on a code approved surface. And any code enforcement official will nix how WAY TOO CLOSE it is to the wooden walls.
