And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We have a bunch of VHS tapes, recorded and pre-recorded, and a brand new VCR still in the box in case we ever want to watch them. I should get off my ass and convert all of them to mp4.
If nothing else this caused me to investigate enough to know that if the box 'o bicarb in the old fridge or freezer ain't what's gone all stinky, then it's still up to the job at hand. Next most common use for the stuff, for me, is tossing the stuff into the dishwasher and garbage disposal with some extra strength vinegar. And sometimes into the garbage bag or can itself when things get sideways before pickup day.
My Bride uses baking powder so the soda version never goes near an oven in any form.
Don't see that much these days.
ReplyDeleteMy parents gave us a car around 2016. As we were cleaning it out we found some nose drops that expired in the 1990's in it. There was still some left.

ReplyDeleteYou will probably find the Tape is stuck to itself and they are unusable. Should wind/re-wind them occasionally.
