And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
saw that once long ago on a training OP. it was night , before NG vision and the wind was in my face. slipped on the creek bank and slid down to the water. 10-maybe 15 feet away across from me was that. it was the longest minute in my life. all I could think of was that I was going to die in a very bad way. but the cat looked up and was gone. yes. I did piss myself and didn't know I did at the time. got a LOT of shit over that until someone shined a flashlight on the other bank and saw the tracks it made.
