And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Oh yeah, my old man had one same color, don't know the year because I was too young. I just know it had a 427 and that the cops would stop and admire it sitting in front of the house!
Drove a 64 red convertible Galaxy 500 with a 460 for a year of college. Hated it - gas price was killing me and it was impossible to park on campus. I'd leave the keys in it hoping someone would steal it. Burned as much oil as gas, blue-black cloud every time you touched the accelerator. I think we paid $200 for it. Cry every time I think about how great it would be to own now, 50 years later.
