The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I don't think so. Ford of Canada decided to let Mercury dealers sell trucks if there was no Ford dealership close by. In the '50s Ford Canada also created the Meteor sub brand which was a rebadged Ford sold at Mercury dealerships at a price that competed with Chevrolet. Al_in_Ottawa
