And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Rosalind Pike. Maybe an adrenochrome junkie who has suffered the inability to secure the drug…they all age terribly. (That is just desserts for the loss of so many children traumatized and bled to death to create their fantasy pass times!).
I loved the Wheel of Time series. Have it all in hardcover. When the series came out with Miss Pike I watched about 15 mins of it and said not. They Pc'd and Woke the shit out of the story. Too bad I was looking forward to a Movie set or series.
