  1. One of the most beautiful Art Deco buildings in the world.

  2. When Jack Kent Cooke owned the Redskins, he had an office on the top floors in that building (Chrysler Building). I took a letter up there to his office begging for Skin's tickets to an upcoming NY Giants game. Didn't get the tickets. But got a personal letter from him telling me sorry, and to keep supporting the Skins!

  4. You obviously love highlighting the Art Nouveau doorways (always spectacular). Art Deco and Nouveau added so much to our culture. No shock they came about under a gold standard and during a period of small government and tremendous freedom and prosperity all around the world.

  5. Got a room long ago at the hotel next door, interestingly, a young Mr Trump’s first Manhattan hotel, looking straight out at those eagles. Spectacular.
