And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
We use a classic French Press for our after-dinner coffee making, and I will subjectively say that the coffee is richer and deeper flavored from a press. Further a touch of real cream will change coffee into something entirely different than a cup of black. However, I am going to say that I don't think that will change your opinion about coffee if you already don't care for it It is sort of like if you don't like tequila a bottle of "really good" tequila is probably no going to make you a fan.
If you want espresso this doesn't really make that. Not enough pressure. Great otherwise and easy to travel with if you want to brew your own on the road. Still need to control grind, temperature and time to get the best result.
I have that and a Bialetti. With the same coffee, I prefer the Bialetti's result, and there's no filter paper to mess with. Eye opener in either case, enjoying both.
Wife is a coffee addict; coffee does not like me, but I'll get one of these for her. Maybe I should give coffee another chance?
ReplyDeleteI use lots of cream and a dollop of sugar to make it drinkable, but the stuff is unmatched for clearing the cobwebs out of my head in the morning.

ReplyDeleteDon't let this comment dissuade you from the experiment. It might be true, but you'll never know unless you give it a shot.
