And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Wife and I just watched Harvey Girls last night. I could not Believe that the Femme Fatale was Lansbury. She was striking, and to me, prettier than Judy Garland. It was an excellent movie too. Ray Bolger can really Dance!
My grandma was a Harvey girl who met my grandpa who was a Santa Fe engineer Did not turn out like in Hollywood. BTW they were very conservatively dressed and most were not good looking as old photos will show. Remember Lady Schick wasn't invented till the 60s.
She was born looking in her fifties.
