And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Back in the '80's our wings fuel money dried up so us H-46 pilots on the east coast were granted permission to maintain our instrument quals shooting approaches in the H-53 simulator. After an hour in the SIM the SIM operator asked, "Anything else you boys wanna try?" We looked at each other and said, "Aerial refueling!" He set up the SIM and left. 10 min after chasing that net we were almost puking as every attempt left us tumbling end-over-end through the sky.
