  1. I'd have to cock the hammer at least to see if it's got the firing pin or modern transfer bar. Prefer the old style myself.

  2. Thing of beauty. Better wear some shooting glasses. That cylinder gap is kinda big. There's going to be some blowback

    1. Cylinder gap is measured between the front of the cylinder and the forcing cone. The gap at the rear of the cylinder has to be comparatively huge because the rim thickness of a 44 magnum is .060" which is just shy of 1/16 of an inch (.0625"). Looks like a Ruger cylinder release.
