Sky on Fire but Mr. Moose is Unconcerned

  1. Their color perception is based on only two types of cone cells in the retina, unlike the three cones found in humans. The absence of a third cone type results in an inability to differentiate between colors in the red-orange and green range.

  2. Those are mighty fine tasting critters. Fresh still bleeding tenderloins over a wood fire. Don't even need salt, butter tender meats. And a lot of it. Got on the road kill list, had to get there in fifteen minutes from time the law calls. Filled the freezer every year plus give away half if it was a bull moose, darn head aline takes two to lug it. Moose makes superb burger meat .
