    1. Certainly does it for me because there's skill in spades here that I cannot emulate whereas a key board creation is within the skill of the less skilled artist. The former creates envy because its rare, the latter disappointment because we know it's, in a way, "fake" no matter how good it looks. Perhaps that's why I buy paintings rather than photos.

  3. Years ago, on PBS, there was a painting show where the dood loaded a fan brush with multiple colors and hues, then with a single swipe n twirl he would paint a very realistic flower petal. 4 or 5 more times and a brand new flower was created, looking every bit like one of the above.
