And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Mine Exploder T-10 (experimental). A modified Sherman M4A2 tank designed to be remotely controlled by the following tank. The project was canceled (1944)
As a US Marine tank commander in Vietnam, my tank hit two different mines. It broke the track; blew off road wheels and volute bumper springs; and broke torsion bars but it only rattled the crew's teeth and not much other damage.
I was in the engineers, an antitank mine would shred them wheels and burn a cavern in the belly.
