  1. I have all three sizes above thanks to the local students throwing away their ironmongery at the ends of various semesters.

    Dumpster diving's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

    I've even found unopened boxes of chocolates!

  3. Tell you a trick I learned really helps make one close to non stick, its easy, sand the face as fine as possible, 600grit is good, season, then break it in.

  4. The one I bought 2 years ago was all pebbly textured on the inside. I spent 2 hours with the random orbital sander and grits up to 600 to get it where it needed to be.

    1. I bought a square one (for bacon, I was thinking) and did the same with it. Now it is a gem, and unless I manage to ruin it somehow, it'll be passed down multiple generations. I also have a Griswold that I use all the time that is right at 100 years old.
