Came across one of those cast iron fans that requires no power and sits on top of the stove to move the hot air around the room. Now THAT seems like a great upgrade. This, while beautiful, needs to be functional too.
Whata stove!

This is a vintage Vermont Iron 'Elm' wood stove with a dragon motif.
ReplyDeleteThe cast iron stoves were handmade in the mountains of Vermont from 1976 to 1989.
The dragon sculpture is a distinctive feature of this particular model.
It is a fully functional, high-efficiency wood-burning stove.
No cooking when the power goes off.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have it sitting on an unprotected wood floor like that.
ReplyDeleteOld Guy is right.
