And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Agree on the covered bridge comment. I've been to all of Kentucky's covered bridges, forget the number, not that many. Very nice new bridge in the pic.
Great collection & 2 of the three VW bus designs!
ReplyDeleteAnother great collection to get you out of work mode and into the weekend spirit.
ReplyDeleteSome good ones here. Keep up the good work. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of vista shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful red Bronco, a pair of GOOD dogs!
ReplyDeleteThat first photo image is my favorite, but they are all outstanding.
ReplyDeleteThank you, CW!!!
Loved the Monument Valley shot!
ReplyDeleteNo Land Cruisers this week, but some favorite nephews of Land Cruisers: an FJ Cruiser (hiding behind the little camper) and a 4Runner in the snow.
ReplyDeleteNothing looks as content as a dog laying down in the back of a pickup after a long day of playing in nature.
ReplyDeleteCovered bridge! If you're into those, Parke Co., IN has a tour of all 31 or so. Sweetie grew up there. Great biker bar in Rockville as well.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason that Friday is my favorite day of the week. Thanks CW!
ReplyDeleteLooking like a 3 day weekend with winter storm on Sunday
