  1. Looks like a lot of kitchens from my youth. To include the cowboys.

    1. And my grandmother would be smacking most of their turds' hats off since gentlemen do not wear headwear inside.

    2. Yup, you did not wear your hat in my south Texas mother’s house!

  3. My mother was the cook on a ranch when I was about 6. Looked just like that. I grew up listening to a pressure cooker making beans for 3 meals a day.
That ranch sold recently for ten million dollars. It is 46,000 acres.

    1. My garage beer fridge is a 1950 General Electric Refrigerating Machine,
passed down from wife's grandparents. Been running now for 76 years
without a repair or Freon charge!

  6. Thems awful small cups. There is no grandmother around, that’s why they have hats and spurs on.

    1. Look behind the kid leaning against the fridge. She's standing in the doorway, smiling.

  7. That kid in front of the fridge...he has milk AND an FFA (Future Farmers of America) jacket on. Wonder if he just graduated high school or this was one of those "get 'em out of school to help" sort of gatherings?
