And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That cat, clearly not concerned in the least that a predator will attack her innards. She and her brother were foster fails from the local shelter. Came to us both sick, and we had to initiate the "Cat Medical Team" thing twice a day to medicate. They got better, but they were so attached to each other, and us to them by then, we just broke down like the weenies we are and adopted the two of them. Win/Win
That ain't breaking down. That is recognizing reality, and there is no cure. We've been victimized the same way many times. Because of irresponsible other people, we've had 10 cats at one time, 5 of them were babies from the 6th, which was somebodies throw away. Down to 2 right now.
