Can see Orion, Sirius, Regel, even Betelgeuse

  1. I see a tree loaded with snow and stars above but I don't Orion or the rest of those guys.

    1. You're not alone. Might be an issue of scale, or that I'm so used to the light pollution where I live, that I can't pick things out any more. But I know what Orion looks like, and I can see 6 of its stars from my front porch.

      If the brightest star there (SE corner) is Canis Major, then Orion should be easy to spot, relative to that, but I still can't find it.

      The brightest stars in Orion form a distinct shape, and I'm just not seeing it.
