Bridal Veil Falls. A spectacular waterfall in Utah’s Provo Canyon of the Wasatch Mountains

  1. My parents’ house growing up is about 10 minutes from these falls. Many times we’d buy some hamburgers at the local burger stand and drive up the canyon to eat them near the falls. When I was young there was also a tramway to a restaurant up on the side of the mountain. The restaurant didn’t last, but the tram stations were there as a relic for quite some time. During and after HS in the summers, we’d climb to the upper tram station where the restaurant was. It was a pretty easy climb with a couple of traverses and one tricky spot moving up a rocky draw with some loose bits of granite. Probably should have used a rope to belay us, but we were immortal teenagers.
