  2. There were several huge steel mills north of Philadelphia where many of my friends worked... as did their fathers and their grandfathers. They sure had interesting stories to tell.

  3. My buddies at the mill called them torpedo cars. They put them directly under the blast furnace tap to catch the molten metal, moving them with a yard locomotive.

  4. Knew a guy who worked for a Company that trucked molton Aluminum from Indiana to Pittsburgh. Imagine that road accident.
