  1. Generally a good selection. One can do better for the same cost IF you assemble your own. A bag from Harbor Freight, and then the items here plus more and a few OTC drugs (aspirin, ibuprofen, dimenhydrinate, APAP, cortisone cream, triple antibiotic) and some island dressings and various gauze pads, quikclot, and for a couple hundred bucks you've got 3 or 4 kits - one for each car and a bigger home kit. I like to add in a multi-tool, work gloves, chem lights, zip ties, paracord, pen/paper/marker, duct tape, LED light or two, and a full set of device charging cables. For road trips, add jumper cables, a can of tire sealant, and maybe an air pump. If you want to be extra careful, keep a 2-3 day supply of any routine meds as well in addition to what you normally pack in luggage.

  2. 95% of the population doesn't know how to use 95% of that stuff.
But silly asses will keep buying it, and they will end up in the landfills.

First, get educated - trained in first aid.

Then you will have the knowledge and some experience to determine what you need and how to work it.

Then you can assemble your own kit that you know how to use and do so at a much better value because you'll only buy that which you know to.

Or, follow the herd and stay inline.....

  3. I hate to be an asshole and I could be wrong, but I bet 90+% of the item in this kit are made in CHINA, including the AMERICAN FLAG!
