And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
For cornering, negative camber will plant the tires better in turns, like a motorcycle. The outside tire takes most of the load as the inner tire tends to lifts. Some Minis will actually lift the inside rear tire completely off the track in a hard corner.
At St. Jovite back in the '70's, I took a picture of a mini cornering with the left rear wheel lifted. Neat picture hidden somewhere in the boxes of slides.
occasionally see fad of sorts play out where young men set the camber on their Asian imported cars at ridiculous angles. Tires on the cars are noticeably wider than stock variety. No idea on tire wear but it has to cause significant uneven wear. Caster is the corresponding L-R angle of wheels.
Many books have been written on how caster & camber affect road holding. Most cars have the front wheels "toed-in" for stability. Here's a fun video featuring an 037 and a Delta Integrale playing on an abandoned airfield. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjt4ONbVyLo&list=PLT4JyTZ_7wLFv1VZv_ToijVGH3vhrNe4K&index=6&t=2s Al_in_Ottawa
