And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Not once, in all my 20+ years working in libraries, have I had a co-worker who looked remotely that good. A few student workers here and there, but no librarians.
It is such a shame that the only thing that some people know is the hatred for "the other side" of politics. Such a narrow minded and sick way to exist.
Well that just sends my mind right to the gutter.
