And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Apparently that boat is SSBN 726, USS Ohio returning from patrol. The off-duty-station submariners are turned out in dress whites, in preparation for meeting their family members on shore. Once tied off on shore, the rest of the sailors after release from their duty stations will no doubt have a chance to shower and change into their whites to meet family and friends.
Was fortunate to have been able to go aboard the 726 boat during construction. The contrast in use of space compared to the 688 class attack boats was amazing. Amazing feats of engineering.
