And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Somehow Natalie made it home from through the snowstorm from the wild party last night. Too bad she forgot to shut the car door behind her.
It took days to get the snow out, using a shop vac and an air nozzle. Luckily it stayed cold enough that I could get most of the snow out before it melted.
Stationed in Northwest Alaska many years ago. One cold, snowy day, one of the crew decided to open the window in my quarters while I was working in another building. Upon return, I had the enjoyable experience of shoveling several feet of windblown snow out of the barracks. Fun times....
I actually did just that about 35 years ago.
