    1. I had the military part number back in the early 90's. They change model numbers almost yearly so the part number changed. The watch was considered expendable so once it was issued to you it was yours and you did not have to turn it back in.

      I never understood supply. Some items were expendable and others you had to turn back in. I rarely got any items that were used from supply. I found out later they dropped most turned in items in the dumpster.

  5. A long time ago, Timex would work with the rinks that the Ice Capades would visit and place a watch in the ice where all the visitors could see it ticking away without any problems.

    Never mind the fancy watches that show up -- Timex takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
