And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
No, it wouldn't be unkind at all. Mary Nichols, "The Queen of Green", did more than anyone else to joyfully spread misery amongst the serfs under her rule as head of CARB. She 'served' under Governors Moonbeam, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gavin Newsom all. The woman is truly evil.
I bought a small bag of just the vents off Amazon, drill a hole & push it in. After using the "improved" crap cans they have sold the last few years I was surprised by how FAST the gas comes out!
Got a real easy hack for the safety spouts, simply remove it, in your hand depress the filler end, should be like a quarter turn detent on the valve that pops out, give it a turn, gently let iff spring pressure, whole thing comes out, remove the compression spring, reassemble reverse order, done. The poppet valve stays closed after you pull up/outwards, to use simply push the spout in, dispense fuel, pull up out when finished. I used a separate relief vent like in the above kits.
Would it be unkind to wish every member of CARB experience every bit of the misery they've caused? Don't care, I do.

DeleteI like the flexible spout myself, but yeah replacing the government type is a must.
ReplyDeleteNever spilled so much gas as when I started using those "redesigned" cans. Gave up and spent the money for the VP Racing cans. Absolutely worth it!
ReplyDeleteGot that. Only problem is the plastic in the vent seems to be irresistible to the mice in the garage.

ReplyDeleteSame here. These are the ones I got.

Is there some reason nobody else just uses the water jerry cans?
ReplyDeleteGlad I kept my old ones (circa 1980)
