And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Last year we had a patio added to the house. I asked about the concrete pad cause we wanted that super smooth glass finish with cool colors that you see in all those ads and pics of beautiful places. The contractor just looked at us like we were idiots. He responded "this is a patio. Outside. Two drops of rain and both of you will be in the hospital with broken hips. Nope, you are going to want textured finish - rough enough for grip in the rain."
So yeah, that tile flooring on the driveway was his first mistake.
