And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

LaGuardia Marine Terminal, Pan American Airways base. In NYC. Boeing 314 at the pier.
As a kid we would ride our bikes to the old Marine Air Terminal - it was a great Art Deco Style building, with a fantastic Flight Mural on the circular inside. It also had a central circular ticket area with a large globe in its center. Too bad that central ticket area is no longer there. One time there, I recall seeing James Brown's Lear Jet parked on the other side of the fence. We would go up top where the meteorological center was and they would give us maps of the weather patterns. The good old days.
