Racked & stacked woman are very dangerous. Fortunately, there's no bayonet lug on the rifle so she can only shoot or beat you to death with it, but not stab you.
Once we took my sons cute 90 lb17 year old girlfriend to the range and trained her up through a series of rifles. The we got out the Marlin 45/70 Guide Gun. I showed her how to hold it correctly to control recoil and gave her one round. When she fired she let out a "Whoop!" and then shook her head and said an expletive. I had another round in my hand and asked her if she wanted to try another and she said "yes" and grabbed the round out of my hand.
Armed and brunette, I'm definitely in love now, good looking woman, fit and trim, nice. She has good taste in weaponry, SST S&W(?), or a new Ruger made Marlin(?). Very nice.
Skinner style peep back sight is part of the rail. The hammer is cocked, you can tell by the position of the trigger. It IS a Henry model. .45-70. $1,373 list. Hard Chrome.

It’s a good rifle but it needs a bigger lever loop for using with heavy gloves. The giant rail has to go. Put some ears on the front sight.
