And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
One bonus point for each of the following: what is the name of little hook device shown at 6:00 in the picture next to the corkscrew, what is it used for, and have you ever used one attached to your Swiss Army Knife? (and yes, I get all three points)
Package hook is what I call it but it has many other uses. The hook is puled into a package binding (when string is used to tie it up). Seek videos on internet - many of them will surprise you. Felix Imler (sp?) has many videos on how to use and maintain these handy tools.
Like those sizes, or less. Not so bulky, and that one has everything you need. I use the awl the most, scissors next, then the small blade last is the saw.
Had one of those once. It somehow disappeared.

ReplyDeleteIt's bad luck to give someone a knife; it severs the friendship.
