The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Amazon is now inundated with resellers selling used stuff. My suggestion is to do a search on amazon for that specific product name, then, when the search is up, get in the left side column and check the "new" category, so as to eliminate the used or refurbished option.

Under the front seat and it might slide forward under hard breaking and get underfoot.
Yep, it's a 2021 and the rear hatch is just a push button.
