    2. Bill Hickman (the driver and stunt coordinator) said he picked the Chargers because their suspension was sturdy enough to use, stock, and that the transmission and drivetrain was really the same, bulletproof without requiring mods to do the stunt work.

  4. The Mustang would have never caught the Charger. Chargers were really good at going straight, but had problems with the curves.

  5. Remember us kids seeing it on the big screen, had to bring a parent's note to get in, we must if talked about the chase a good year plus. It was back then totally thrilling to see.

  6. Finally watched the entire movie a couple of months ago and I came away very impressed. It's a damn good movie with an awesome car chase.
