Replaced the factory plastic safety for an aluminum alloy one, don't have the heat shield, its a factory 8shot 20"bbl, it smacks propane tanks at a hundred paces for a treat, nothing but a front bead, got to really put my cheek down to the stick, line up the bead even steven to the bbl, then walk the bead onto the target, it really works, a foster slug won't but make a huge dent, at least half way to the other side. Got it brandy new in 86, its a fine weapon, taken a beating over time, rides behind the seat, always there at the ready.

  5. I have to get by with a junky ole 1974 Western Field/Mossberg, in xlnt cond. Action is slick, unlike my post 2000, parked and flat black M500. They really don't make them like they used to. At least the newer one is tapped for optics or pic rail.
