  2. So you got three loaded rounds on the rifle stock and two fired rounds? Don't tell me those are wadcutters. And is that a .45 ACP with a stick in it?

    2. Since there is a Zippo and a Ferrocium rod I’m think that the plug of wood is used to make dry shavings to catch a flame or spark, a rifle with a fire kit essentially .

    3. Good thought Anon 12:07 - your explanation makes sense to me. To me, drilling a hole in wood and securing in same loop as ferro rod would make even more sense. Fire accellerant in the wild is a good thing !
