And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Burn it all up before spring and don't replace it until fall. I've made that mistake before. Also had my firewood too close to the compost pile in the summer. Pack rats stashed the vegetable peels and egg shells in there.
I'm so tired cutting splitting and stacking, my wife does the final work making it all fit nice and tight in the racks. We only drag in enough for the day and night, too many bugs otherwise, don't like those Recluse spiders, one chewed on my wife's calf all night, took years to heal, then had to cut out the wound cause it became cancer.
While nice looking and seeing the "cute" log style planters very trendy.

Termites love nesting in woodpiles in my area.
