The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I sold my .45 Colt about 15 years ago. I shot mostly mouse fart loads keeping the velocity down around 850 fps. I did have some 200gr bullets that were at the top of the recommended load that ran 1260 fps. If I one handed those for all 6 shots my wrist and elbow would regret it.
