And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Closed over twenty years ago. I remember our family stopped there occasionally on the way to visit relatives many decades ago. I believe that there was a time that they actually had whale steaks on the menu.
Pretty little back when it was running, remember it was a treat for everyone to go eat there, and the lobster sandwiches with fries and a pop is a good memory, they had red plaid table cloths and big napkins.
There was, not sure if its still open, the finest fresh fish joint in the NE, it was smack dab under the bridge up in Portsmouth Maine, they had their own fishing boat, so everything was as fresh as it gets, their batter fried haddock sammich was mind blowing good, a chunk of fish so big you could not get your teeth into without using your fingers or a fork. so fresh tasted like the finest lobster meat, thats all I ever ate there, it was too die for it was so good and fresh.
