And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was in my 30's before I could afford to buy a new truck at the end of the 90's. Three weeks after I took delivery I filled it up for the first time. After the fill I got coffee and pulled the truck out to the red light where I felt a bump just after the light changed. I pulled off and it felt sluggish. I drove the half mile to work. When I got out of my truck I found that I had hooked a Mercedes SLK with the hitch. The 19 year old sugar baby that drove the Merc had her Sugar daddy come help her out. I had the vehicles separated by the time the SD arrived. I had a broken 4 wire hitch but no other damage. The SD gave me $2500 to not file a police report.

ReplyDeleteEvery time I have to drive through a metropolitan area I make sure the truck hitch is installed. Buys you an extra couple of feet of separation.
