  1. Pretty cool for its time the Tyrrell P34 was not really a competitor. Must have been cool to race in Monaco in the late ‘70’s.

  3. crabbing or nearly so- camera dollies have such a setting on all four wheels, plus circular and standard.

  5. Probably gives way more traction, but wasn't worth it due to pit crew time...
    More tires to be concerned about and the extra time involved changing them out.
    Not to mention the extra weight on the car with the duplicated steering mechanisms...

    1. Traction wasn't the main goal, it was for better aerodynamics by lowering
      the front tires out of the air, but keeping the or improving the same grip.
