And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I went for a ride in something similar (but with rubber tracks as I recall) a few years ago, forded a water way up to about halfway up the doors and bridged a gap etc ... Pretty cool, they were in use in the Antarctic and the ride was at the Antarctic Center in Christchurch New Zealand. Wife was nervous but held it together.
Those would be used to just transport people and gear, up to their destination, and back and down again, typically on ordinary mountain forest roads. So, no harm would happen to the nearby grassy areas, (and little tree seedlings) etc.
