And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Tacoma 5K seervice Moinday. 30ish female was at a service desk. Her Corolla had 70K, she said. Brakes screeching. Tech looked at the pads. Metal on metal.
Back in '13, I bought a "Certified" used '13 Corolla with about 40k on it. It needed front pads, bad, and a front-end alignment. It was a lot of miles for a year-old car but my son's still driving it. "Certified", Ha. But they fixed it under warranty.
I had a caliper seize and by the time I got home I could punch a finger through the disc like it was made of aluminum foil. I was young and broke. Just had to get home to repair it myself
I bought a used Subaru and stopped at a traffic light. When I took my foot off the brake the brake pad fell out on the front right. That was just the beginning.
I'd wait.
